Allbäck Stove Blacking is a natural and environmentally friendly product based on high-quality linseed oil and graphite. It is designed to restore and protect cast iron stoves, ovens, fireplaces, and other cast iron items, giving them a classic, deep black, and semi-matte finish.

Usage:

1. Preparation: Clean the surface of rust and old paint residues (use a steel brush). Then clean grease and stains with denatured alcohol. IMPORTANT - the surface must not have been previously painted with synthetic paints, it must be completely removed before applying the oil.
2. Application: The oil should be applied when the surface is cold. Apply the oil in a very thin layer with a brush or cloth. Allbäck's philosophy always emphasizes – "less is more". A thin layer ensures better adhesion and less smoking during the first heating.
3. Polishing: Allow the product to sit for a few minutes, then thoroughly polish the surface with a dry cloth or stiff brush.
4. Heating: The first time after treatment, heat the stove gradually to allow the linseed oil and graphite to "bake" into the cast iron surface.
