Why Two Products Instead of One

Mold control involves two main steps: eliminating existing mold and preventing mold recurrence. Most products on the market address only the first issue — the surface becomes temporarily clean, but mold returns. The AURO system addresses this comprehensively:

1. Schimmel-Entferner No. 412 disinfects and removes existing mold.
2. Schimmel-Stop No. 413 provides long-term prevention against new mold formation.

Main Advantages of the AURO Anti-Mold System

The most popular anti-mold agents are based on sodium hypochlorite (chlorine bleach). Their labels carry the mandatory warning EUH206: "Do not use together with other products. May release dangerous gases (chlorine)."

Differences in operating principle:

Chlorine bleach often only bleaches the mold stain without destroying the roots and spores, leading to mold regrowth. The AURO peroxide-based formula acts oxidatively, but without irritating chlorine fumes and can be used on wooden surfaces, which chlorine products often damage.

Usage

Step 1 — Schimmel-Entferner No. 412: spray evenly on the affected surface, allow to act for at least 1 hour (longer for severe mold), then remove with a soft brush or sponge and clean the residue. Note: the product destroys mold, but natural ingredients may not always completely remove dark stains. These can be attempted to be removed with a water/vinegar solution.

Step 2 — Schimmel-Stop No. 413: spray on the dry, previously treated surface and allow to act for 15 minutes. On smooth surfaces (ceramics, tiles), wipe with a damp cloth and rinse with water; on porous surfaces (wood), spray again and allow to dry.
