Bahco 850-1 is a high-strength tungsten carbide blade designed for intensive work removing layers of paint, varnish, and glue from wood, metal, or concrete surfaces. It is standard equipment for the scraper Bahco 650.
Technical Specifications and Advantages:
- Material Metallurgy: Made from tungsten carbide, which is significantly harder than regular tool steel. This allows the blade to maintain its cutting ability even when in contact with hardened, old paints, without losing sharpness after the first few minutes of work.
- Precise Geometry: The blade is designed with a slight curve (convex shape). This detail is critical for restorers as it prevents the blade corners from digging into the wood surface, avoiding unwanted scratches and marks on the cleaned plane.
- Double-Sided Use: The blade has two working edges. Once one side becomes dull, the blade can simply be flipped, doubling its working life before replacement.
- Cutting Efficiency: Unlike steel blades, carbide "cuts" paint into chips rather than merely scraping the surface. This significantly eases the task when working with thick layers.

Delivery Time: Orders are usually delivered within 4–6 business days after payment is received. If the order is placed on weekends or public holidays, it will be shipped on the next business day.
Receiving Goods: Please check the packaging upon receipt of the goods. If the packaging is damaged, you can refuse acceptance and inform us.
Returns and Exchanges: You can return goods within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unused and the packaging (paint can) has not been opened. The cost of return shipping is covered by the buyer, except in cases where the goods are damaged or do not match the order.
Refunds: Refunds are processed within 14 days after receipt and inspection of the returned goods.
