What is linseed oil wax?

Linseed oil wax is a 100% natural protective agent for wood and mineral surfaces, consisting of linseed oil and beeswax. It combines the oil's ability to deeply penetrate the wood with the wax's ability to form a protective layer.

Unlike synthetic waxes or varnishes, linseed oil wax does not form a film but allows the surface to breathe while providing effective protection against moisture, dirt, and wear.

It is suitable for both untreated surfaces and the maintenance and restoration of previously oiled surfaces.

How to apply correctly?

Preparation:

• The surface must be clean, dry, and absorbent
• If necessary, lightly sand the surface

Application:

1. Apply a thin layer with a sponge, cloth, or polishing pad
2. Work the wax into the surface
3. Let it absorb for 30–60 minutes
4. Wipe off excess wax with a dry cloth

Important: always apply linseed oil wax in a thin layer. A layer that is too thick can create a sticky surface and significantly extend drying time.

Drying time

• Approximately 24–72 hours depending on temperature and humidity
• Full hardness: approximately 1–2 weeks

During this time, it is recommended to avoid heavy use and moisture.

Consumption

With 1 liter, it is possible to cover up to 40 m² depending on the surface's absorption capacity.

Safety and storage

Attention: cloths soaked in linseed oil products can spontaneously combust. After use, they must be immersed in water.

• Store in a tightly sealed container
• Protect from heat and direct sunlight
• Keep out of reach of children

Surface care

• For daily cleaning, we recommend using linseed oil soap and water
• Avoid aggressive chemical cleaning agents
• If necessary, the surface can be renewed with a new layer of wax
